Verizon revealed another smartphone in its fall fashion lineup the LG Enlighten will go on sale online September 22 (tomorrow) the same day as the 4G LTE Pantech Breakout, a week before the 3G HTC Rhyme.
The LG Enlighten will be available in stores on September 29. The news release call it "slim and affordable," costing $79.99 after a $50 mail in rebate with a contract.
The LG Enlighten has a landscape QWERTY keyboard, 3.2" (320x480) touchscreen, 800MHz processor, 3G mobile hotspots (5), 3.2MP camera, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, lots of messaging features and 2GB microSD installed.
New Verizon customers who trade in any kind of phone can get at least a $100 gift card (more if the trade-in value is higher) with the online exclusive trade-in deal when buying a smartphone, while current Verizon customers can only trade-in a basic phone for the $100 gift card.
Trading a phone will make the LG Enlighten super cheap, and less than free. If you are waiting for QWERTY 4G LTE Android smartphone the Samsung Stratosphere is expected to be out this fall.
