Verizon Wireless 4G LTE is deployed in twenty-two new cities and expanded the network in four cities today.
Verizon Wireless' 4G LTE network is alive in:
- Birmingham, Alabama
- Modesto and Stockton, California.
- Fort Myers, Florida.
- Bloomington, Elkhart, Evansville, South Bend and Terre Haute, Indiana.
- Sioux City, Iowa.
- Hagerstown, Maryland.
- Tupelo, Mississippi.
- Albuquerque and Santa Fe, New Mexico.
- Buffalo, New York.
- Asheville, North Carolina.
- Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
- Jackson and Martin, Tennessee.
- Greater Hampton Roads and Richmond, Virgina.
- Green Bay, Wisconsin.
Verizon Wireless is also expanding its 4G LTE network in Los Angeles and San Diego, Calif.; Washington, D.C.; and Erie, Pa. today.
In order to use the 4G LTE network, a 4G LTE device is needed. Verizon recently announced the super thin Droid RAZR due out in November and is also expected to release the Samsung Galaxy Nexus (aka Nexus Prime) in November.
