The Droid with the longest battery life, the Droid RAZR MAXX is landing at Verizon Wireless tonight for $299 with a contract. The Droid RAZR MAXX is a Droid RAZR with higher capacity battery. Motorola claims it is the longest battery life smartphone.
All the latest Droids from Motorola: the Droid RAZR, Droid 4 and Droid RAZR MAXX have batteries that can not be removed. Therefore, if you love to use your smartphone for long periods of time, the Droid RAZR MAXX could be the right smartphone choice for you. 4G LTE network use drains battery power quickly, in fact many Galaxy Nexus owners have resorted to tricks to reduce battery drain and even shut off the 4G LTE access when not using it. Samsung Galaxy Nexus owners have also found that using an extended life battery not from Verizon Wireless can cause problems.
The DROID RAZR MAXX 's battery allows for phone calls for over 21 hours straight on a single charge. Motorola claims that the on a single charge, DROID RAZR MAXX by Motorola lasts more than twice as long as the leading competitor with a 3300mAh battery. It is pretty much the same as the DROID RAZR except for the larger battery, which makes it a tad thicker.
