Asus Transformer Prime News: Back-in-Stock Deals, Updates & Tools

We called the HP TouchPad the ImmortaPad, what should we call the Asus Transformer Prime? The tablet that would be a netbook?  The Backorder Quad-Core Wonder? Whatever you call it the  Asus Transformer Prime  is über popular due to its specs and continued care by Asus to updating, adapting and support.  They are hard to find, but we found some places with stock and once you get one you can update it and or unlock it at your own risk.

The Asus Transformer Prime  was the first tablet to be updated to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and is the first quad-core tablet on the market.

Amazon appears to have a gray market for Asus Transformer Prime  tablets from partners who jack up the price or you can wait a few weeks to get an Asus Transformer Prime delivered when you buy directly from Amazon,  Office Depot has them back in stock while the stock at Walmart.com and Best Buy is sold-out online as of this writing.  We have been not been able to find one discounted below the list price.

Meanwhile  Asus Transformer Prime  owners are now able to download a bootloader unlocking tool from Asus but proceed with caution:
