HTC 2 ICS Update Verizon Droid Incredible 2, HTC Rhyme & ThunderBolt

HTC CISHTC has revealed more U.S. Verizon model smartphones that will be upgraded to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. There are some 4G LTE smartphones and one 3G hat will get the update along with the new HTC Sense 4.0 user-interface at Verizon Wireless.

Here's the list of upgrades that were recently verified via the HTC Facebook page:

  • Droid Incredible 2 -  Reviewers gave the Droid Incredible 2 good ratings for a world phone, battery life and speed.
  • HTC Rhyme - the purple female-focused smartphone with its own purse-leash.
  • HTC ThunderBolt - the first 4G LTE smartphone on Verizon Wireless from HTC, named one of the top Verizon smartphones of 2011.
  • HTC Rezound - previously was announced as 4.o ICS updatable.
HTC previously announced that HTC Sensation would be updated and  tt is being tested in Europe.

It has also been reported that HTC will release Android 4.0 updates by the end of March.

HTC announced in November that Ice Cream Sandwich is coming in early 2012 to  the HTC Sensation, HTC Sensation XL and HTC Sensation XE, as well as the HTC Rezound, HTC EVO 3D, HTC EVO Design 4G and HTC Amaze 4G through carrier partners.
