  • Sprint will launch a new promotion that  begins February 12 through  April 14, that allows for sooner handset upgrades with a prorated buy-out of the contract. You have to have owned the handset for at least 9 months fees are as high as $165.00 down to $55.00
  • U.S. customer who never subscribed BBM Music, are eligible for a free four-month trial
  • The Silicon Valley area code is changing.  The California Public Utilities Commission announced that on April 21, 2012, consumers and businesses with a 408 area code telephone number will need to begin dialing 1+ area code + seven digit telephone number when making all local calls. The new dialing procedure will become mandatory for all residential and business consumers on October 20, 2012.
