iPhone 4S 4 Masses Plays Cricket with "Unlimited Data"? 6/22 Release Date

iPhone 4SOn Friday, June 22, Cricket Wireless will offer iPhone 4S and iPhone 4 with its $55 per-month, unlimited talk, text and data plan.

The unlimited data however is given a fair-usage policy of 2.3GB month which means after you use up the data, the data access will be throttled.

iPhone 4S and iPhone 4 will be available in Cricket company-owned stores and select dealers in nearly 60 markets.

iPhone 4S will be available for $499.99 for the 16GB model and iPhone 4 will be available for $399.99.  IHS iSuppli estimates that shows the  iPhone 4S  16GB costs $188 in materials $8 in manufacturing costs totaling $196.  Most of the profit is not made carriers but paid to Apple and its share holders.

The iPhone 4S is offered now by AT&T, Verizon Wireless and Sprint, leaving T-Mobile as the only carrier without it.

Apple claims that  iPhone 4S,  is the most amazing iPhone with a dual-core A5 chip, new 8MP camera with 1080p HD resolution video recording, world phone support, two antenna, and Siri, voice commands.  However a new model the iPhone 5 is expected to be coming out later this year.

The iPhone 4S integrates a five-lens camera module. The 4S camera module is an autofocus device with an 8-megapixel (MP) resolution, compared to 5MP in the iPhone 4 models. Like the iPhone 4, the 4S employs backside illumination (BSI) technology (see comparison of all iPhones).

Recent rumors suggest that the iPhone 3GS may be revived for global markets with a consumer price drop to between $200 and $250.

In comparison, Straight Talk  has a buy your own smartphone SIM program.  Straight Talk unlimited  3G data/text/talk plans at $45 a month are very enticing. StraightTalk claims they can cut your bill in half.  On the other hand, the new Voyager Mobile costs $39 for all-unlimited voice, text and WiMAX data.
