There is a lot of news revolving around the Samsung Galaxy Note, in its present form, future form and bigger format. Currently the Samsung Galaxy Note runs Android 4.0 and may be updated. The Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet has some improved features.
Note 2 2 Be Revealed 4 IFA
It has been officially revealed by Reuters that the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 will be announced in late August before IFA according to Reuters. "We plan to unveil the next Galaxy Note at the Samsung Mobile Unpacked event in Berlin on August 29," a Samsung spokesman said.
T-Mo Note 8/8 Release Date
The T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note phablet will have an August 8 release date and comes with a stylus that allows to handwriting to be turned into text. The Samsung Galaxy Note appeared the Olympics Opening Ceremonies.
Features of the T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note include Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, dual core 1.5 GHz processor, 5.3" screen, stylus, 8 GB camera, front camera, Wi-Fi calling and HSPA+ capabilities. The price is $250 with a contract from T-Mobile.
SG Note 10.1 Hits the Big Time in August
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 will be available later this month with a 1.4GHz quad-core processor, 10.1 touchscreen, The feature that gives it the Note name is the stylus that can be used to draw pictures, take notes and actually input text very quickly. This S Pen is larger than the phablet note pen and closer in look and feel to a standard ink pen.
S Pen enabled apps include S Note, Polaris Office and Adobe Photoshop Touch, that automatically launch when the stylus is removed from the internal holder. All Galaxy Note 10.1 models will offer Wi-Fi, optional features will be Wi-Fi with HSPA+ or a 4G LTE model coming out later.
The Note 10.1 has a Multiscreen feature where you can view webpages or videos, or launch other applications while writing or sketching ideas with the S Pen on the other half of the screen.
The Galaxy Note 10.1 will be released first in South Korea, Germany, the U.S., and the U.K., and then gradually roll out to other markets starting later this month. Since it is a fairly new device it most likely will be updated to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Samsung has made no official announcement yet. The price in other countries is in the $700 range.
SG Note Updates to Android 4.1 JB?
In the purely rumor anonymous source department, it has been rumored that Samsung is testing Android 4.1 Jelly Bean for the Samsung Galaxy Note. It is also not clear if the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 will launched with Android 4.0 or 4.1. It will get eventually get an update. Updates to Jelly Bean are reportedly expected in the fourth quarter of 2012.
When the Samsung Galaxy 2 is released the price of the first will be lower and a better deal. It still packs a lot of power and an S Pen.
The Samsung Galaxy Note is much more popular in Europe and Korea. In Europe we don't mind using the S Pen. In Europe we were using cell phones for everything way before the Yanks did.
There are lots of good medical apps for Android but their are more for iPhone.
Like I commented before, "Where the handwriting technology is really going to shine is when they have a 10? Galaxy Note, we could see the end of keyboards forever and we can go back to just the old style of writing like a pen on paper."
The Nexus 7 is better deal because you don't have to have cell service. The only problem is when you are not near Wi-Fi.
Ican do anything on my Samsung Galaxy Note that you can do on tablet or smartphone. It just takes a lot less space and after I've used it for a while they don't need to look at the screen as much. I also like it better for showing photographs to friends.
Samsung should get on the ball and get its updates out faster but it has to go to bed with Google and Google likes to keep its power and brand to itself and have "Nexus with Benefits."

If you can get the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 two cost to cost $200 and have an S Pen instead of keyboard that will beat iPad any day. The iPad keyboard is smaller than human hands
