T-Mobile is has an update ready for the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 on December 19, Wednesday.
The Samsung Galaxy Note II received excellent reviews and was named as one the best T-Mobile smartphones and appears in lists for Sprint and other carriers.
The update will be available Over-the-Air (OTA) and through the Kies app.
The update will include glitch fixes along with Multi-Screen/View. Some reviewers didn't like the U.S. version of the Samsung Galaxy Note II didn't come with the feature.
In order to get the update T889UVALK8, you can check via the Kies app or in Settings, tap About Phone, tap Software update.
The update resolves Exchange calendar events not appearing on device Calendar and issues with being unable to swipe through Gmail messages.
Tt is always a good idea to backup your data before any update and make sure your battery is at least 50% charged. You will not be able to make calls during the update process.
