The Nexus 4 has been sold-out making many buyers frustrated who keep asking why the debacle occurred. On of the few ways many Americans can get the Nexus 4 is in T-Mobile stores with a contract. A source in France says that the problem was due to low estimates from Google.
The Nexus 4 is finally available in T-Mobile stores and will be available online on January 23.
From the start, Google servers couldn't keep up with orders on the first day of sale in the United States for the Nexus 4. In the Ireland, a Google manger blamed the manufacturer (LG). The Nexus 4 was named one of the top smartphones of 2012.
In Korea the people at the plant claimed that the orders were being pushed out as planned.
LG Mobile' Finance Director in in France Cathy Robin is blaming Google's estimates that were based on sales of the Galaxy Nexus which was priced much higher. The estimates were too low to meet the demand.
Meanwhile, Brian Scollo of LG showed us some neat Nexus 4 tricks at CES (see video).
We believe that much of the popularity of the Nexus 4 is due to developers needing the latest version of Android to develop apps as well a sit being the cheapest high-end unlocked Android smartphone available. (Read Review)It has the same processor as the LG Optimus G.
Features of the Nexus 4 include a quad-core processor, 8MP camera, gesture typing, 4.7" 1280x768 Gorilla Glass 2 IPS touchscreen, front camera, SlimPort HDMI, Wi-Fi Bluetooth and barometer.
Now there are rumors brewing of a Nexus 5 with a 5" screen. When Google calculates production of the Nexus they should use the numbers from the Nexus 4 demand/debacle.
I agree the NExus 4 is the best unlocked phone for an almost affordable price. People are sick of paying way to much money for smartphones.
