There are rumors that T-Mobile will offer a new unlimited prepaid plan with unlimited data starting Wednesday.
According to leaked documents T-Mobile will launch a $70 unlimited no-contract plan on January 9 that will replace the current 5GB data prepaid plan.
T-Mobile’s Unlimited Nationwide 4G Data plan is described as“Perfect for video chat, streaming music/movies/TV and playing online games.”
There will still be a $60 month 2GB data plan for downloading apps, music and games. The unlimited talk/text prepaid plan with 100MB of data is $50 a month.
This may be due to the fact that T-Mobile acquired prepaid carrier MetroPCS and is working on keeping prepaid options available. It could also be due to Sprint's plans to update its prepaid offerings later this Month.
T-Mobile calls its data 4G which is HSPA+. It is only major carrier to not sell the iPhone, yet. But will offer iPhones sometime this year. T-Mobile also plans to stop subsidizing smartphones.
T-Mobile's best smartphones include many Samsung, HTC and LG Android devices.
