Samsung Galaxy S IV Numero Uno 4 Next Unpacked @ Times Square

Samsung Galaxy S 4The invitations are out and now and instead of the classic Roman numeral four, it shows the "Western" number "4" along with the iconic Samsung Galaxy name.

People have been referring to the Samsung Galaxy S III as the S3 for quite some time.  In fact, when it won the award for the best smartphone at Mobile World Congress it was called the Samsung Galaxy S3.

We know the number "4" can't mean a  4" screen because Samsung stopped making such little screens a while back.

The "4" could stand for quad-core, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 has a quad-core processor. Most likely the Samsung Galaxy 4 will be the name of Samsung's "Next Big Thing."

The event is at Times Square which could mean some really big screens.  It says "Be the first in the world to experience it!" You can watch Samsung  Unpacked  via livestream and experience the  flagship smartphone at Times Square. It is only episode "1".  The invitation was not an elite press-only thing but appeared on the Samsung Twitter feed.

Even though it was confirmed earlier this week we can now be absolutely certain to the 4th degree that Samsung is going reveal its latest Galaxy Smartphone on March 14.

After rounding up many of the expected features of the Samsung Galaxy S4.  A new leaked web browser test Browersmark shows it as the highest score of 2710 running Chrome browser, the fastest ever,  over double the Samsung Galaxy  S3 that scored 1246.

Other features include more powerful, thinner, multiple storage options, wireless charging, super camera ans special software.

The well reviewed Samsung Galaxy S III was named the top smartphone of 2012, and has gained a great following and offers all kinds of neat features (see video beginner / advanced tips).  There are currently deals to get the SG S3 for a little as penny with contract.
