HTC One News, Delays Prepay Deals & Verizon Horizon

New HTC OneThe HTC One shipments have been delayed and something like it may be sold by Verizon Wireless.

According  to Engadget, global shipments for orders from O2 of the HTC One in Germany have been pushed back to sometime in April.  However those who pre-ordered the HTC One will begin receiving their orders by the end of this month. An HTC rep said ""We will start fulfilling pre-orders by end March in certain markets and will roll out to more markets as we approach April."

Something very similar to the HTC one is expected be sold by Verizon Wireless, even though previously it was announced that Verizon would not offer the HTC One. A Bluetooth SIG filing shows a HTC6445LVW which some contend will be for Verizon Wireless and similar to the HTC One along with possible Droid branding.

Just in case you are confused we are referring to the new HTC One.  The One that T-Mobile is showing this promotion.

"Get a $100 VISA card when you pre-register to receive information on the HTC One by 3/26, purchase your new HTC One device by 3/31, and trade-in your current, working smartphone by 4/30. A qualifying rate plan is required."

HTC showed off the new HTC One in New York and London in February, calling it the "best smartphone ever." New features included an Ultra Pixel Camera, dual speakers, dual-mics and the new HTC Sense 5 software. (see all features).

AT&T will offer the HTC One in silver and black, with 32GB or 64GB options.  It will  also offered T-Mobile and Sprint.
