Less than a week after the big reveal the Samsung Galaxy S 4 has been in the news for costs, tests and screen.

It may be more costly but the Samsung Galaxy S4 is twice as fast as the iPhone 5 according Geekbench. The Samsung Galaxy S4 with with a whooping score of 3163 better than:

The Samsung Galaxy S 4 tested by Geekbench had the Snapdragon 600 S0c Qualcomm processor, which is also used in the HTC One which came in second place. The Nexus 4 coming in fourth shows once again shows that the Nexus brand is more popular than the Samsung Galaxy S brand. Nexus tablets have higher benchmark scores than Galaxy tablets.
For comparison the original iPhone has a Geekbench score of 120 while the Samsung Galaxy S 4 comes in at 3100.
IHS estimates that the material costs $236 for a HSPA+ Samsung Galaxy s4 and an LTE version costs $233 when labor is added the costs total either $244 or $241 which beats the iPhone 5 that costs $207 to make. According to these scores it may be worth it for those who need speed.
Geekbench is concerned that the faster processor and larger screen will contribute to battery drain. Samsung, however, created new technology for the super intense large screen.
Screaming Really Big Screen
The Samsung Galaxy S 4 is one of the few handsets with 1920x1080 High-Def touchscreen and the first using AMOLED. Samsung increased the lighting area in AMOLED panels with its new structure of Pentile matrix, and used phosphorescent material for the green subpixels, for btter light management and lower energy consumption. The AMOLED display was has a greater denser pixel arrangement, greater than 400 ppi for sharper images and more content on a smaller area.
Other HD smartphones are the HTC One (4.8") Sony Xperia Z (5"), ZTE Grand S(5")LG Optimus G Pro(5.5") and Lenovo Ideaphone (5.5").

Meanwhile Apple's new iPhone ads say that the Phone has the only Retina display and “the world’s most popular camera.”
According to Korean news source Yonhap, LG holds patents for eye-tracking since 2009. Samsung claims that eye-scrolling and eye-pause the S4 use different technology.
