Motorola shows how it made the Droid RAZR thinner by removing air space,  adding a thin  battery, super Kevlar and splash coating to make the thinness strong.  It's five times stronger than steel.  The Kevlar is the same material as a bullet proof vest and  prevents scratches.

Verizon gave original RAZR owners the new Droid RAZR in a hot box. "We took the DNA from the awesome RAZR and mixed it with the Droid"

The Droid RAZR is a very tough smartphone with protective features. It is currently has the fastest dual-core processor on the Verizon network until the HTC Rezound comes out next week.  It is expected to be updated to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich within in 6 weeks of Motorola receiving the code the from Google.  The first Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich smartphone will be however the Samsung Galaxy Nexus due out later this month.

The Droid RAZR goes on sale in stores tomorrow at 11:1a am.  A new commercial is airing and Motorola has released a series of videos to show off some of its features (videos follow).

Verizon Wireless is heavily promoting the Droid RAZR and its 4G LTE network over the holidays and recently announced that it's offering double the data for each data 4G LTE data plan.

The Droid RAZR "Payload" commercial shows a motorcyclist burning up the road, flying into the air and then ejecting blades into a truck in order take a metal box with a Droid RAZR inside. It ends with the tagline "too powerful to fall into the wrong hands."
