Motorola has taken a stance against the iPhone, making bigger larger smartphones with ginormous battery life and splash guard with the Droid RAZR HD MAXX 4.7" touchscreen.

Motorola claims that you will "never have an off day again" because it takes battery life to a whole new level." Droid RAZR MAXX HD features 32 hours of performance making it the longest-lasting LTE smartphone.' You can watch 13 hours of straight video, up to 10 hours of YouTube HD content or surf the day away with up to 8 hours of web browsing.

Motorola and Verizon Wireless announced the Droid RAZR HD that is taking smartphone screen size into the phabulous phablet realm of entertainment in time for the holidays. We figure a release in November, sometime.

Motorola claims that the Droid RAZR HD with the 4.7-inch HD display is the most compact smartphone in its class, designed for watching up to 10 hours of movies and TV shows or 6 hours of surfing the Web. They also claim that you get the same clarity as HDTV, and beats the iPhone 4S with 85 percent greater color saturation and 50 percent more pixels per inch.

Android developers want and need Android devices that with unlocked bootloaders so that they can "play" with the software. Average consumers go into dangerous terriority and the void warranty protection by unlocking the bootloaders on Android devices.

HTC began providing the keys to unlocking the bootloaders on certain devices, last year. The unlocking webpage states "We strongly suggest that you do not unlock the bootloader unless you are confident that you understand the risks involved. This is a technical procedure and the side effects could possibly necessitate repairs to your device not covered under warranty." There is a drop menu showing the HTC Sensation 4G, Droid Incredible 1/2, HTC Rezound, HTC ThunderBolt, HTC Vivid, EVO Design and other models with an "*" on some models that require an HBOOT update. Apparently, the HTC One X from AT&T can not be unlocked, yet. Some conjecturatti reported that it is AT&T's fault.

This week has be packed full of announcements and we're catching up on Droidum. The Droid RAZR and RAZR MAXX have been the top best sellers at Verizon Wireless for a while, how could Motorola make the line better?. They've cut down on clunkiness and body fat by taking the screen all the way to the side edges for one and increased the screen size and battery life on the others new RAZR releases.

By spreading the screen to edge, the size of the Droid RAZR M is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand with a 4.3" qHD (540x960) Super AMOLED touchscreen. It's little and big at the same time that's why we call it the Droid RAZRini.
