iPhone Bests Samsung Galaxy by $2B

iPhones and the Samsung Galaxy are the most profitable in the Galaxy reported Strategy Analytics.

Apple's iPhone was the most profitable at $7.1 billion or 57% of total profit shares of smartphones.

Samsung has the main share of profits ts $5.1 billion in operating profits which is 95% of all profits made on Android. Global Android profits were $5.3 billion. Android accounted for 43% of smartphone profits.

iOS 6.1.3 Issues, Glitches & Fixes for iPhone 3GS, 4/S, 5 & iPad 2-4

The iOS 6.1.3 was supposed to solve and prevent problems now it looks like it is causing problems.  The security hole that allowed crooks to access contacts through emergency calling has been fixed, there are reports of battery drain, email,Wi-Fi and other issues.

We looked through support forums and forum members as well as Apple have supplied some fixes for some of the problems.  For some the battery drain issue is connected to corrupted connections to email and iCloud.  Apple also suggested resetting Wi-Fi if after the iOS 6.3.1 update for iPhone 3Gs, 4/S, 5 and iPad 2-4.

IPhone SecurityAfter the release of  iOS 6.1.3, yesterday which fixed a lockscreen flaw that allowed access to contacts, a new security opening has been found in the iPhone 3GS, 4, 4s, 5 and iPad 2,3,4. The update also blocks jailbreaking by EvasiOn and fixed other problems.

For data thieves with time and the iPhone in their hands they can get past the security code by using voice control to dial a number. Ejecting the SIM card during the dialing, will end the call and give open access to the address book and photos on the iPhone. The way to stop anyone from doing it is to shut off voice dialing.
