LG is still in the smartphone ball game with the LG Opitmus Pro, recently for AT&T and has more Optimus plans, soon.
Tech media have received invitations to an event on May 30th with the title “ImaGination Begins" in Macu, leading the conjecturatti to contend that LG will launch a new LG Optimus G, maybe the LG Optimus G2.
The LG Optimus G Pro preorders started on May 3.This phone is more of phablet than smartphone and sized in realm of the Samsung Galaxy Note II.
The LG Optimus G Pro features a Snapdragon 1.7GHz quad-core processor with 2 GB of RAM, 5.5-inch, 1920 X 1080 Full HD IPS display (400ppi), 13 MP Full HD camera, front camera (with dual recording), TV/entertainment universal remote control, 3,140 mAh Battery, 32GB storage and microSD slot.
There are more Optimus models coming from LG, the LG Optimus F5 and F7 mid-range LTE smartphone models with Android 4.1.2 that will be shown at Mobile World Congress. The F series models are designed to bring the speed of LTE to a mass audience.
LG announced that their premier smartphone the LG Optimus G has sold over one million units over the world in four months.
LG offers the Optimus G in Canada, Japan, South Korea and the United States and plans to release in China and in several European countries in the first quarter of this year. The well-reviewed LG Optimus G has some neat features (see videos) and was named one of the best smartphones of 2012.
