Samsung Galaxy Nexus Follows Droid RAZR, HTC Vigor Black Weekend with 11/28 Release Date?

A leaked internal Verizon screenshot shows the RAZR by Motorola, HTC Rezound and iPhone 4S being promoted for Black Friday weekend edning November 28, followed by the Samsung Holiday Portfolio with the Samsung Galaxy Nexus.

There have been reports that the Samsung Galaxy Nexus could be out in time for Black Friday, but the leaked screenshot clearly shows the Monday after Black Friday.

We expect an announcement this Thursday for the HTC Rezound, however a display in a Verizon store showed it with Beats audio enhancements by Dr. Dre. The HTC Rezound is expected to be released on November 10.

Verizon Wireless is already taking preorders for the Droid RAZR which is the thinnest 4G LTE smartphone from Verizon Wireless which will ship no later than November 10 and comes with free NFL Mobile.

Signs of HTC Rezound (Vigor) in Stores & Video Pre-Release Date Beats Droid RAZR & Samsung Galaxy Nexus?

The HTC Rezound has made two appearances today, before its announcement and release date. A tester shows what comes in the box labeled HTC Vigor that is called the Rezound inside the software. Signs in Verizon stores show the HTC Rezound with earphones connected.

Someone forgot to tell the people who install signs in Verizon stores not to put up the new smartphone sign that shows the HTC Rezound (Vigor) and lo and behold it will come with earbuds like the HTC Rhyme but with Beats by Dr. Dre audio enhancement. Other features shown in the ad are red softkeys and Joe Jonas.

An announcement is coming from HTC this Thursday at a press event. The HTC Rezound is expected to be released on November 14 which pits it against the Droid RAZR expected on November 10 and the Samsung Galaxy Nexus expected on November 17. The features that are not found on the RAZR or Nexus are a 1.5GHz dual-core processor and Beats audio. The Droid RAZR is thinner and the Galaxy Nexus has Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with a huge 4.65" screen.

The late night super smartphone jump on presales will not be available for the new Droid RAZR. Instead presales will start at 8:00am EST tomorrow at Verizon Wireless online.

It will cost $299 with a contract. It is good news because we don't have release dates for other new smartphone expected from Verizon Wireless such as the Samsung Galaxy Nexus (Prime) or HTC Rezound (Vigor).

Verizon has promised that Droid RAZR smartphones will ship no later than Thursday, November 10. There is no official word, yet on if customers will be able to buy Droid RAZR smartphones in Verizon stores on that day, which may also be the release date for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus or HTC Rezound.

Previous major Droid releases sold-out within a few days of release dates. To promote 4G LTE superfast data access NFL Mobile is included at no additional charge for 4G LTE customers for the remainder of the 2011 season

The holiday fall release of new smartphones continues this Thursday in New York City when HTC is set to announce its "latest innovation." The media event we be held next week on November 3 in the afternoon.

Many believe that the HTC Rezound, a.k.a. the HTC Vigor (according to Verizon accessories) will be announced to beat out the Samsung Galaxy Nexus (Prime) and Droid RAZR by having Beats audio enhancement by Dr. Dre and a a 1.5GHz processor. The Samsung Galaxy Nexus and Droid RAZR have 1.2GHz dual-core processors.
