Verizon Wireless has added and expanded 4G LTE markets in time for the its release of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus and white Droid RAZR. All markets included are listed after all the 4G LTE smartphones and tablets. The 4G LTE network by the end of 2011 includes 190 markets, 9 smartphones and coverage of 200 million.

The Pantech Pocket is wide fat touchscreen tablet looking Android smartphone for those who prefer a BlackBerry form factor and portrait keyboarding that fits in a wide pocket.

The Pantech Pocket has a 4:3 ratio more square touchscreen with a 600x800 pixel resolution 4" touchscreen. The wide format makes it easier to type in the portrait mode. Features include 2GB microSD card installed, 5MP camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. It is described as being very thin.

The Pantech Pocket runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread along with a Pantech UI. The Pantech Pocket will cost $49.99 with a contract.

Verizon Expands 4G LTE for Droid Bionic, Pantech Breakout, Nexus Prime, Droid RAZR HD?

Verizon Wireless announced today that its 4G LTE will add 22 new cities and expand the network in four cities on October 20. Verizon will add 13 cities and expand in five cities on November 17 (list follows).

Samsung Stratsophere - announced today the Samsung Stratosphere is the first QWERTY 4G LTE smartphone from Verizon Wireless.
Pantech Breakout the newest 4G LTE smartphones with rounded corners and lowest starting price from Verizon Wireless.

Pantech Breakout Video Breaks Out from Verizon Wireless

Verizon has released a new Pantech Breakout video. The video shows the customizable homescreen, mobile hotspots, VZ Navigator, video recording, easy uploading of photos to Facebook, Yelp search and text messaging to find friends (see video at end of this article).

The Pantech Breakout went on sale from Verizon Wireless for $99 after rebates on September 22.

The Pantech Breakout ships with Android 2.3 Gingerbread, 1GHz processor, 4"(480x800) touchscreen, mobile hotspots (up to 10), 5MP camera, front-facing camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 8GB preinstalled microSD and 1500mAh batter. It has added Pantech widgets allow it to be connected to the DLNA devices such as TVs via DLNA.
