We've seen some interesting sources for rumors and in the case of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, Nexus Prime aka Droid Prime, it's really getting crazy.
Last month, there was bogus Twitter account named the "Official Droid Bionic" account that spewed out bad poetry and clues about the Droid Bionic. Now a Twitter account that can't be verified is dishing out rhyming clues about the Nexus Prime which is being picked up by news sources. Besides being bad poetry it doesn't make sense (poem appears at end of article).
The bottom line all of this is that it is all rumors. The rumors that have been reported previously are:
- The Nexus Prime/Droid Prime will be the first Ice Cream Sandwich smartphone with a powerful dual-core processor.
- It will be made by Samsung(confirmed by Samsung webpage and legal letter), suggesting it will have a Super AMOLED touchscreen which may be as large as 4.5".
- It could be coming from Verizon Wireless.
- Release dates that have been thrown around hover in late October, November or near Black Friday.
Because the Twitter accounts don't have an about to real person, what we call "unamed", unverified source, we have no way of knowing if it is true but an excellent way for the gullible readers to get punked.
Other sources include people without last names or real biographies. Then bloggers fight with other to see which leaked material is really bogus.
Anybody can make up whatever they want when they don't use a real name or real identity.
Okay so reporters are reporting the Nexus Prime will have keyboard and come from Verizon and other carriers. So what? Well those sources make money off advertising to punked readers.

Be it a Droid or Nexus branded new toy, with dual cores “hd” screens, fancy new widgets and more.... The one with the keyboard is what I enjoy .
