Full news stories today include the launch of the HTC EVO Design 4G, Verizon 4G LTE expansion, Samsung Galaxy Nexus' carriers, HTC Rezound (Vigor) and VMware for separating Android business and personal data.

Here's the news that is too short to report:

  • AT&T announced it activated more than 1 million iPhone 4S' as of Tuesday, making it the most successful iPhone launch in the company's history.
  • The voice of Siri has spoken and she's open to break-ins.  Even if an iPhone 4S is locked with a  password, a complete stranger can come up to your smartphone, press the button and give Siri a spoken command.
  • The fourth annual Hipcricket Mobile Marketing Survey revealed that consumers—particularly smartphone owners—are turning to mobile retail sites as a critical tool for shopping. The survey found that smartphone owners are visiting mobile retail sites to: research prices (46 percent); search for coupons and offers (36 percent); research products (28 percent); and purchase products (13 percent).
  • BASIS International Ltd. has taken legal action to preserve and protect their longstanding ownership of the BBx® trademarked operating system independent language, database, and toolset. Research In Motion’s (RIM) press release announcing a new BlackBerry operating system (OS) named “BBX” is causing great confusion for the worldwide BASIS community and could potentially harm BASIS’ reputation for enabling cross-platform application development.
