HTC One X Review of News

The HTC One X is in the news because some users have been subjecting it to test.

According to some benchmark tests the HTC One X out performs the Samsung Galaxy Nexus and Asus Transformer Prime while other benchmarks favor Apple speeds.

The test score where the HTC One X is the best is Vellamo test developed by Qualcomm that makes the dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor on the HTC One X. Vellamo test shows the HTC One X as better than both the Nexus and Transformer Prime.

Wen we ran a comparison on GLBenchmark the HTC One X beat out the Samsung Galaxy S II but not the Asus Transformer Prime, iPhone 4s, new iPad, iPad 2 or Acer Iconia Tab A510. To be fair there are not as many tests of the HTC One X as other models, yet.

Android Central showed AndEbench, Antutu, and CF-Bench benchmarks that also showed strong performance.

Sprint is expected to announce an HTC One X-like model in New York on April 4.

The HTC One X will be an AT&T exclusive and we expect it to be released soon because it has passed through the FCC.

AT&T revealed the AT&T version at the HTC One X at Mobile World Congress. Features of the HTC One X include a 4.7" HD touchscreen, Android 4.0 (ICS), Beats enhanced audio, dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm MSM8960 processor, LTE access, 8MP camera, front-facing camera, HTC Sense 4, 16GB storage onboard, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 1800mAh battery. Support may be provided via LogMeIn.

Because the HTC One X uses different processors on different carriers it is hard to tell which model is being testing as well as if the test itself is correct.
