In time the for fourth day of the fourth month of the year we thought that it's about time we offered of review of the reviews of the Droid 4.

We scoured the latest reviews of the Droid 4 to find the consensus of the best features and ratings.

The Droid 4 is almost the same as the Droid RAZR but with a smaller screen and a slide keyboard. It  keeps with the tradition of  the original Droid.  

Best Features:

Reviewers of the Droid 4 liked the dual-core speed, fast 4G LTE network, excellent voice calls, and best-ever keyboard that offers a reason to give up BlackBerry altogether.  It received two Editors' Choice awards.  Download speeds were ahs high a 19.4Mbps. Photo quality was good and battery life is good  The speaker is loud and video chat is smooth. Benchmark tests were fast.

Least-Liked Factors

Most reviewers didn't likes bulky size, of the Droid 4 and lack of Android 4.o. One reviewer noted tha screen is not Super AMOLED but a 4" qHD screen ith 940x540-pixel resolution.  Another disliked featured is that the Droid 4 battery is not removable.

It you like to accessorize and have the budget the  Lapdock 100 (10-inch screen), the Lapdock 500 Pro (14-inch screen), or an HD Station, transforms it into a Netbook.

Nice features of  Motorola added-on software are direct social media connections to photos, music player and Motocast to stream media from a PC. Media playback was excellent and looked excellent on an HDTV. Photos were excellent and fast.

Bottom Line

The most compelling reason to buy the Droid 4 is its excellent keyboard.  The Droid 4 has been called the fastest QWERTY 4G LTE smartphone around and is priced at Verizon Wireless for $199.99.  Amazon.com still has discounts it to $99.99 for new customers and $149.99 for renewing contracts.  The Droid RAZR MAXX has a higher capacity battery read review

The Droid 4 has a dual-core 1.2 GHz processor, 1 GB of RAM and a five-row QWERTY keyboard with edge-lit keys and a 4" touchscreen.  Droid 4 has an 8-megapixel camera with 1080p HD video capture and Mirror Mode that can display images and video on an HDTV. Other features include a front-facing camera, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

In the future,Verizon will update the software with global roaming and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
