  • Wireless Alert System enabled.

According to Verizon Wireless and HTC the HTC ThunderBolt will be updated to Android 4.0 ICS. you will not be able to make emergency phone calls during the update.
Downloading the update file should take 15 to 20 minutes while installing the update should take 10 to 20 minutes.  it is always a good idea to back up your data first, have your battery at least 40% charged and not be in a data roaming area.  If you are in a roaming area, you should wait to download the update until you have a Wi-Fi connection.
