AT&T 4G LTE Expands 4 iPhone 5 vs Samsung Galaxy S3 & HTC One X in Many StatesAT&T has added several metros for its 4G LTE service. The new cities are Sacramento, Birmingham, Memphis,Palm Beach County, Miami-Dade, Sacramento, Wilmington, Rochester, Albany and Philadelphia.

AT&T claims that 4G LTE offers faster speeds, new devices, faster response time with lower latency and more efficient use of spectrum.

AT&T already has sold-out preorders for the iPhone 5, first day of sale which set a sales record with iPhone 5 over the weekend, making it the fastest-selling iPhone AT&T has ever offered.

The other top smartphones that use the network are the Motorola Atrix HD, HTC One X, Nokia Lumia 900, Samsung Galaxy Note and Samsung Focus 2.

The iPhone 5 will ship in 14-21 business days with prices starting at $199.99. This iPhone 5 is the first iPhone to offer 4G LTE connections.  Many people chose to wait for the latest iPhone for the 4G LTE service.

The toughest competitor to the iPhone 5 is the Samsung Galaxy S III (read comparison). Other top smartphones on the AT&T network after the well-reviewed Samsung Galaxy S III are the  Samsung Galaxy Note, the HTC One X and Nokia Lumia 900.

The Samsung Galaxy Note has been called a phabulous phablet because it has many features like a tablet. In fact we took it to a beach one day and wrote an entire article using it. It appeared in the opening ceremonies of the Olympics. A newer version of the Samsung Galaxy Note, named the Samsung Galaxy Note II is expected in November (compare Notes).
