Verizon 4G LTE New Metros for Free HTC ThunderBolt, Galaxy Nexus, Droid RAZR, LG Spectrum, Stratosphere, Bionic & Jetpacks

Verizon Wireless is adding five new metros to its 4G LTE network, today. This will bring the total served by the network to 200 million in 195 markets. These metros launch along with the new LG Spectrum (HD) and new customers will have a choice of many 4G LTE options.

Verizon has a new sweet deal for new network until January 26, a free HTC ThunderBolt with a new line activation and 50% extended battery. Well-reviewed 4G LTE models also include the Droid RAZR and Samsung Galaxy Nexus.

The New Metros are:

Glens Falls and Utica, New York.
Lawton, Oklahoma.
Brownsville and McAllen, Texas.
Verizon Wireless is also expanding its network in Atlanta, Houston and Spokane, Washington.

Droid RAZR Cheaper Price Redux B4 Droid 4/MAXX Best Deal - Purple RAZRs 1/23

The top best smartphone on Verizon Wireless in 2011 just got cheaper and will be more colorful. In anticipation of the launch of the Droid RAZR MAXX, Verizon Wireless reduced the price of the Droid RAZR with a contract and down to $199.99 by removing the 16GB microSD card. If you don't like the Droid RAZR is basic black, it will be out in purple on January 23.

The Droid RAZR appears in many top ten best smartphones of 2011 lists, including the top ten of all and Verizon Wireless list. Reviewers of the Droid RAZR gave it Editors' Choice and was rated well for being the fastest and thinnest for now.

The announcements and awards from CES can be overwhelming but are worth looking at to see what we can expect in the coming months in the mobile and wireless space. Today we are reviewing the Laptop Best of CES in our favorite categories. Two products are in the realm of "concept" and "to be announced." Top Smartphone Opens New Windows for Windows Phone

Watch out iPhone and Android, Windows Phone is coming round the bend. Laptop's best smartphone (like CNET) is the Nokia Lumia 900 4G LTE from AT&T. Laptop called the Super AMOLED touchscreen gorgeous. The photos are sharp, and the front-facing camera is "the brightest we've seen". They also like the Nokia Drive turn-by-turn directions and exclusive content.

Droid RAZR MAXX to Max Out 24 Hours of Battery on 2/6 Streaming?

Motorola slipped that January 26 may be release date for the DROID RAZR MAXX but also has something brewing for February 6. Motorola will reportedly stream a day-long event to show the battery running on a DROID RAZR MAXX for twenty four hours.

Verizon 4G LTE data really drains batteries. Many Samsung Galaxy Nexus owners buy longer life batteries or resort to battery saving tricks. The DROID RAZR MAXX is a Droid RAZR with extended life battery claimed to be "the longest battery life of any smartphone."

Verizon Double Data Deal Ends Tonight 4 Galaxy Nexus, Droid RAZR, Bionic, Charge, Stratosphere, HTC ThunderBolt & More

To entice new4G LTE smartphone users over the holidays, Verizon Wireless was offering double the data for the same price. The deal ends tonight.

If you don't have a data plan now with Verizon Wireless, you may want to get busy and order your first 4G LTE smartphone.

Verizon users who already have unlimited data on any smartphone will be grandfathered and continue to have unlimited data plans when upgrading to a 4G LTE smartphone according to Verizon spokeswoman Brenda Raney. The double data deal will also stay with the Verizon customer.
