Droid Bionic, Samsung Infuse 4G, Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G & HTC Sensation Top Best Android in September

Canaccord has a released its figures for September sales of smartphones.  Although the iPhone for isn't top place for both AT&T and Verizon wireless android takes the cake at T-Mobile and Sprint with the 4G LTE Droid Bionic in top place at Verizon wireless and the Samsung Infuse 4G, top Android.  at AT&T.  The full chart follows.

The Android smartphones have faster network access than the iPhone 4 but not as much notoriety or popularity.  The top smartphone makers are Apple, HTC, Motorola, Rim, and Samsung.

Let's take a look and see why the Android winners won market share while there is only on BlackBerry smartphone on the top-seller list.  It will be interesting to see what happens at Sprint after the iPhone is released in on its network.

Verizon Top Best Android:

Droid Bionic- this much awaited dual-core powerhouse received great reviews, hast 4G LTE access and will stream files wirelessly

• Samsung Droid Charge - reviewers raved about the Super AMOLED touchscreen, great camera/camcorder and fantastic 4G LTE speeds. Videos looked great and played smoothly.

 

 

Sprint Top Best Android:

• Samsung Galaxy S II Samsung Epic 4G Touch - reviewers of the Samsung Epic Touch 4G all found some similar excellent features such as a the Super AMOLED 4.52" touchscreen, excellent battery life, good-to-great camera, faster dual-core processor and good WiMAX data speeds.
• HTC EVO 3D - reviewers liked the dual-core processor, qHD (960 x 540) touchscreen, big dedicated camera button, and comfortable design of the HTC EVO 3D.  They questioned the need for 3D video recording and viewing.
• Motorola Photon - reviewers of the Motorola Photon 4G  raved about its power, great audio/video playing, excellent call quality, global voice/data roaming, touchscreen, media dock, HDMI mirroring to HDTV and fast data speeds.

 

AT&T Top Best Android & Other:

• Samsung Infuse 4G - reviewers of the Samsung Infuse 4G liked the Super AMOLED 4.5" touchscreen, battery life, camera and thinness.
• BlackBerry Torch 9810 - this BlackBerry is the successor to the BlackBerry Torch and is the lowest priced BlackBerry OS7 smartphone from all carriers, priced at $49.99 with a contract. It has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard and does not require a large data plan, because BlackBerry compresses data.
