The patent trolls were working in abundance with lawsuits abounding between all technlogy companies the funniest we thought was that Apple claimed to have invented the icon and claimed that Samsung copied them to the tune of one billion dollars. We think Cleopatra and the Sumerians would protest. The courtroom was like a Monty Python farse.
The well-reviewed iPhone 5 came with incomplete Apple maps that sent users in the wrong direction. The only discount we found on an iPhone is $50 off until January 15 at Best Buy.
The Kindle Fire and Kindle Fire HD are the most gifted products on Amazon and received good reviews our sideloading tips are the most popular around.
This year Verizon ended its individual plans and launched share everything plans which lead heavy data users to plot ways to keep even a dead relative's grandfathered unlimited data plan. AT&T also launched a shared plan.
Users continue to wait for Android, Windows Phone and other operating systems updates for months. The worst offender was Motorola that promised update to the Motorola Atrix 4G and then changed its tune. Updates are delayed due to testing and and also carriers.
Google pure Nexus products had debacles, snafus and problems on every model starting with the Nexus 7 and with problems on the first day of sale of the Nexus 4.
We have seen more celebrities in commercials and products than any year before the prominent was Le Bron James with his Samsung Galaxy Note II that looked small when placed near his face.
Google has made many mistakes this the year. The month of December was missing from the Android Jelly Bean 4.2 calendars and the search results continually weed out quality content for junk. We think the whole process is going to explode in 2013.
