We digested and distilled all the major reviews of the DROID RAZR and found that it received Editors' Choice from all the reviewers and was rated well for being the fastest and thinnest for now.

All reviewers noted that the DROID RAZR Super AMOLED touchscreen is gorgeous and the data speeds as well as 1.2GHz processor are very fast.

The reviewers praised the media players, streaming files wirelessly from Motocast and the video player. The most interesting "techie" feature is the Smart Actions built-in app that helps maintain battery life (videos appear at the end of this article).

Top Ten Best Smartphones SprintConsumer Reports has made a splash lately by letting the world know how its subscribers rated carriers. The smaller carriers were top rated, while the national carrier with the best ratings was Verizon Wireless.  We have been examining how Consumer Reports rated the top smartphones of the year for T-Mobile, AT&T and Sprint.  We noticed that CR rates smartphones more on the consumer experience rather than the technical details.

Update 2012 - We've rounded-up the 2012 results for best smartphone from Consumer Reports, T-Mobile, DT, HTC, Droid, Motorola, Sprint, AT&T, Verizon, trends, sales figures and the best for 2012.

The Samsung Galaxy S II is rated best for all carriers except for Verizon Wireless where it is not available yet but will be coming as the Samsung Galaxy Nexus sometime in December or later.

The magazine is slightly behind the market because it takes time to go to print and be delivered.

Has tag the Tweet with  "30DayofRAZR" to win you have to be a legal resident of certain states.

There is also the COHOHO 12 Days of Holiday GiveAWAy where you can win a Droid RAZR or Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 that ends December 16.

Verizon has part of its CPO (Certified Pre-Owned) sale today is offering the Motorola Xoom CPO for $199 with a contract.
