Here we go again with the oh-so-romantic concept of proposing marriage to a beloved through a smartphone or tablet. There is a trend of "dumb" bogus attributes and use of devices that are just plain ridiculous.
The marketing departments of smartphone makers don't realize that smartphone are breaking up more marriages than making marriages work.
Windows Phones facilitated a proposal in gigantic Windows Phone in Times Square. The BlackBerry PlayBook was the device of choice for another proposal. Now Samsung shows its time to beam a commitment to love with the Samsung Galaxy Beam.
While an "I love you" song plays the background, a twenty-something projects his love on an RV wall and then asks "Will you marry me."
What's wrong with these pictures? Guys have gotten so despondent to talking to women many have stopped phone calling using texts and emails instead. Love is supposed to be from human to human.
We are keeping a list of ridiculous accusations of what smartphones can do here are our favorite bogus claims.
