In 2012, Verizon Wireless introduced many fast large full powered smartphones. It also stopped subsidizing grandfathered unlimited data smartphones in June and introduced the share everything plan which includes mobile hotspots, but requires shared data to bought in Gigabytes. We've looked at all the expert reviews throughout the year to create the best smartphones for 2012 for Verizon Wireless.
So far we covered the best smartphones from Consumer Reports, T-Mobile, DT, HTC, Droid, Motorola, Sprint, AT&T, trends, sales figures and as we approach best for 2012.
Verizon Wireless offers great 4G LTE coverage and good customer service. It is however one of the most expensive plans especially if you are a heavy data user and don't have grandfathered unlimited data.
Unlike other web sources that have data programmed into some kind of funky pricing, we have found the best ices prices for the smartphones as of this writing and entered direct links by hand. Amazon Wireless offers a 14 day low-price guarantee. Some hot devices make discounts hard to find but we were able to find some for your trusted readers.
Be sure to read the fine print, because once you switch to the share everything plan, you can't get your double data or grandfathered data plan back. Data hogs have gone to huge extremes to keep unlimited data in fact some have plotted to take over plans from family member who dies.

As with other carriers, LG has made inroads to the top list with two surprise also-rans the LG Lucid and LG Spectrum 2.
The Droid DNA was released too late in the season to be named on all the lists but did gain some votes. Backorderd on Amazon Wireless but still in stock at Wirefly for $149.99, the Droid DNA has a huge screen, Beats Audio, 8MP camera and 1.5GHz quad-core processor. Compare to Samsung Galaxy Note II.
The iPhone 4S was released in 2011 and was on the Verizon Wireless best list, last year. It lacks 4G LTE network access. The best features of the iPhone 4S are its faster performance, superb camera and beautiful touchscreen. The less favored features are you can only upload video in 1080p and Siri is not always accurate. Compare to Samsung Galaxy Note II.
6 . Droid 4 Motorola - is the only QWERTY smartphone in the list. The Droid 4 has an average score of 3.9 out of 5 but was listed on top best lists more than the Droid DNA. Reviewers of the Droid 4 liked the dual-core speed, fast 4G LTE network, excellent voice calls, and best-ever keyboard that offers a reason to give up BlackBerry altogether. 5. Droid RAZR M by Motorola - with an average score of 4 out 5 The 4.3" screen goes all the way to edge giving you more screen for a petite size and light weight that is larger than the iPhone 5's screen (read comparison). Read review. .BUY for one cent for new customers
4. Droid RAZR MAXX Motorola - had an average score of 4.2 out of five the battery is exceptional, but non removable.
3. iPhone 5 - the best iPhone, ever, reviewers went "meh" over its now classic software. The iPhone 5 remains a big seller due to its extended screen size and one-handed use. The only discount we found on an iPhone is $50 off until January 15 at Best Buy.
2. Droid RAZR HD/MAXX - The well-reviewed latest Droid comes in two versions one with a larger capacity battery. It it kicks up the features of the original Droid RAZR a notch with a sharper display and more battery life.BUY HD for $149.99

Droid RAZR HD MAXX should be the best, for battery life at least.
